Untiring service continues to be a defining characteristic of the firm. Eustace LeMaster's integrity is recognized by the Washington Society of CPAs who choose him as the first recipient of the Distinguished Service Award. Daniels would be the second recipient of this award in 1965. In 1961, after 47 years of service, LeMaster resigned his partnership. Shortly after in 1964, he would die following surgery.
