Here's how our program works: First, we connect you with a go-to host whose job it is to give you what you need to be successful. After a full office orientation and specific training in the software packages you'll be using, you'll work with your host to select the areas of expertise you want to pursue from our internship "a la carte" skills list. With your host's oversight, you'll develop those skills through real client work and participation in key projects.
The "a la carte" skills list covers core competencies in each of the following areas:
- Bookkeeping
- Taxes
- Accounting
- Auditing
- Technology & Administration
We'll supply you with a guidebook that includes handy information and tips as well as outlines and journal entry pages to steer you week by week through the program. You'll have documentation of your activities and discoveries that will serve as a helpful reference tool for you well into the future.
