LeMaster Daniels helps raise funds for Kyle Charvat Foundation
A golf tournament to benefit young adults battling brain cancer
In May 2009, LeMaster Daniels' Bellevue office sponsored a hole at the third annual Kyle Charvat Foundation Golf Tournament. Along with other local businesses, we helped raise nearly $18,000 to benefit young adults battling brain cancer.
The funds raised at this event go into a bigger pool, making it possible for the KCF to distribute $40,000 to patients who apply for financial help.
“This has clearly been a challenging year for many from an economic perspective,” said Greg Bullington, of Forum Ventures LLC, who organized the benefit golf tournament. “It makes the success of this event even more exciting.”
The foundation promised to keep the sponsors informed of the patients assisted in the coming months on account of the golf tournament fundraiser.
“I’m thankful for everyone who participated,” Greg said. “Our generous, loyal sponsors stepped up in a major way and drove the success of the fundraiser.”
