Wear Red Day on February 6, 2009
On February 6, 2009, LeMaster Daniels employees wore red to work in collaboration with Go Red for Women and the American Heart Association.
Perhaps Wear Red Day is appropriately marked in February – a month closely associated with the romantic offerings of candy hearts and red roses on Valentine’s Day. Women’s heart disease has climbed into the number one killer spot of American women, making the celebration of those we love especially poignant.
By wearing red, LeMaster Daniels employees joined the national movement to bring awareness to the disease. LeMaster Daniels supports the cause with heart.
